The Blue House was fantastic. (Much better than we’d expected!). The extras were great and the crockery is lovely. Had a lovely time thanks… We wished we booked for the four nights!! (The kids wanted a week!), Thanks.

The minute we unpacked our bags, we were rueful that we would be packing them again in 2 days time.
We could have stayed in The Blue House for at least a week. Spending the mornings enjoying the walking trails around the national park, having champagne picnics at the lighthouse for sunrise, rock scrambling at Honeymoon Bay, and hiking down into one of the world’s most iconic and beautiful beaches – Wineglass Bay. This area blows your mind at every turn and The Blue House is the perfect accompaniment to it.

News: Dolphins Frolic Around Freycinet!

The weather has been great and the ocean is showing its abundance, with amazing birdlife, great fishing and crystal clear waters. Best of all, visitors to the area have been rewarded with a high dolphin population in and around Coles Bay. There are constant sightings of numerous dolphin pods swimming and frolicing in the warmer summer waters.

The dolphins are not only visible by boat, there have also been pods of dolphins playing in the shallow waves at Wineglass Bay – which is an extra special treat for those who make the walk over the mountain. Also, scuba divers have been surprised to turn around underwater and see a few playful dolphins swimming around them.

We saw the dolphins from the boat as we were going out, heaps of them. Then when we were diving I turned around and there was about 5 dolphins swimming around me and looking at me. They circled me for a few minutes before swimming away… It was amazing, something I will always remember!
